With over 16 years of experience, IVHQ provides safe, impactful, and affordable fully-hosted volunteer experiences. Our multi-layered support network and flexible booking policy means individual students and faculty-led groups can volunteer abroad with confidence. We cater to busy schedules with year-round start dates and flexible durations (from 1 to 24 weeks), making our programs especially suitable for alternative winter, spring, and summer breaks.

IVHQ provides affordable and locally led volunteer programs by working with NGOs and organizations based in each of our destinations. Working with local organizations helps boost the local economy and helps us place volunteers where they are genuinely needed. We are committed to regularly reviewing our impact on volunteers, local communities, our employees and the environment. This gives us the opportunity to find new ways to learn and improve in line with our pledge as a B Corporation and as a member of the UN Volunteer Groups Alliance.
CUSTOM GROUP PROGRAMMING
IVHQ’s faculty-led volunteer programs and custom programming provide a meaningful way for your students to supplement their studies and give back to communities in need. Our tailored approach starts with understanding the needs of the faculty member by providing detailed estimates and custom itineraries.
From the moment you make an inquiry with IVHQ, our dedicated Group Support team will work with you to help your planning, including:

● Finding a destination and placement best suited to your group’s preferences, skills, and objectives
● Arranging any custom accommodation requirements
● Developing weekly schedules (volunteering, accommodation, meals, etc.)

ACADEMIC CREDIT OPTIONS
IVHQ supports students fulfilling academic credit internally through their home institutions and externally through our School of Record with the University of Montana and Warren Wilson College. This School of Record provides oversight of the academic process and experience, including review of syllabi, evaluating course offerings, and ensuring academic quality. Students can earn up to 16 credits on our volunteer programs.
